Picture someone trying to define "religion." What would they say?

Most people start with beliefs: faith in God, acceptance of certain truths, commitment to scriptures. That's important. Belief alone doesn't make a religion, though. Plenty of people believe in God without ever going to church. Plenty of people accept doctrine without changing their lives.
