Lesson Plan A · Covenant Frame · Proverbs 1-4; 15-16; 22; 31; Ecclesiastes 1-3; 11-12

Hook

  • Think about the last time you felt the Lord correct you. Not punish you, correct you. A nudge, a check, something you knew you had to face. Keep it to yourself for now, but hold it in mind. How did you read it in that moment?

Anchor

  • “For whom the LORD loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth” (Proverbs 3:12).

  • “Will you read Proverbs 3:11–12? Solomon says something surprising about correction. What does he say it is a sign of?”
