Isaiah 24 describes the whole earth worn out and defiled, not one nation, the earth itself. What do you think could do that much damage?
Anchor
“The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant” (Isaiah 24:5).
“Will you read Isaiah 24:1–6 and notice how wide the damage goes? Then look hard at verse 5. What are the three things the people did, and what is the ‘everlasting covenant’ they broke?”
